Hi Lee,
Sure, I’d be happy to share where I went to learn how to code! I went to a 7 month intensive coding bootcamp called Turing School of Software and Design https://turing.edu/. I went through the frontend program, so I specifically learned JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3/Sass with less emphasis on the backend. I found this school to be extremely effective because you’re fully immersed in this program for 7 months (can’t work full-time simultaneously) and you have the support of other classmates and teachers. It was definitely difficult for me and you have to put in a lot of hours, but in the end I’m so happy to have switched careers and to have learned how to code! I wrote another blog about deciding between Turing and Galvanize that might be useful as well https://kswanie21.medium.com/back-to-school-which-coding-school-will-i-choose-turing-or-galvanize-5fd4a1d246b9. I wish you the best of luck with your coding journey!
